Skirt Bookclub
I'm relatively new to this, so bear with me. As you now know, I'm the new book club at skirt! I'm single at the present time, but have TONS of friends and am attracted to anything with 2 covers (front and back), with lots of flippy pages in between. Call me crazy..... I like to spend my time in boo...

What I'm Reading

Friday, August, 1, 2008
I am overloaded in a good way. I didn't want to choose the next book all by myself, but have, as usual, started three more while waiting for input. So, if you are interested in reading along, I am reading the following: 1. The Time Traveler's Wife- I cannot say enough about this amazing book. I fell in love on page one. Trust me. 2. Bel Canto-ditto 3. Walden and/or Into the Wild- Although these are for my upcoming classes, they are obviously fantastic. I am hoping to have more of you join in this time, as it makes for less one-sided (my side) conversations. So get back to me; let me know if there is another book you would rather read, or if you would be interested in one of the above. Thanks! ~ Pamela

Get it..... Let's read it together. I would LOVE to do that with you. I think this particular book will make you drool on the pages. As much as you like words and as descriptive as you are, the appreciation you will have for me after this is all over will amaze you! :)

Dear Pamela: I am new to the book club. I just posted something in response to your Chap 4 and 5 discussion of "Autobiography of A Face." I would be interested in reading Bel Canto, as was recommended by someone else who read Autobiography of A Face. Please let me know if others are reading this too.

this is one of my favorite books; I have just got it in hardback for my library because I love it so much. Some of my friends have read it; it seems to be a controversial book; provocative...my favorite of the author's.
